March 24, 2011

You amaze me every day with your humor, kidness, and intelligence. You seriously amaze me. Just thinking about your future brings me to tears, not sad tears, okay well maybe a little, but mostly happy.

I've not written to you since your first birthday and you've changed so much in just three months. You're running now! Seriously, running. Running to chase the dog and running away from mommy and daddy. You love it though. You're always laughing and smiling while you're doing it,

In the last three months you have picked up so many ASL words. You can sign; food, hungry, more, ice cream, cracker, hot, cold, help, bath, cookie, cheese, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. You seem to surprise us every day with a new word. While you're not verbally speaking, your language is blossoming.

Today for the first time, you crawled on the playground equipment, you went through the tunnels, and you had a blast going down the slides. You would smlile huge and clap when you got to the bottom and stood up. Pure joy. You run around the equipment in circles and you walk up to people and just stare at them, you did try to go in and give another girl a kiss though, weve got to learn we cannot just give strangers kisses! It is sweet though.

You're favorite toys are still your lovey, Eeyore. We have tried to buy you a duplicate so we can wash one and that's a no go. You won't take the other at all. I'm not sure what were going to do! Lately you have been dragging around the baby doll that I had as a small girl. It's adorable to watch you carry her around and give her hugs and kisses.

I love you sweet pea,
Mommy
